About Anchor Baptist Church The Anchor Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church located in the Lougheed Mall area of Burnaby, BC. Our church is easily accessible from anywhere in the greater Vancouver area. Our church currently meets at the Cameron Recreation Centre 9523 Cameron Street directly behind the Mall. Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self-governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church. At Anchor Baptist Church, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, the church also has several outreach ministries. Each month we conduct services at the Union Gospel Mission in downtown Vancouver, and in three Nursing Home facilities in Burnaby and Coquitlam, and starting in 2007, we hold monthly services at Fraser Regional Correction Centre. |
