Our Scripture reading today is 1 John 3:23, "And this is his commandment, That we
should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
Once a lost sinner gets saved, it is very clear that God commands that His children
love one another. How can we say we love the lost and do not show love to people
inn our own spiritual family. Having seen a little bit of everything over these last
30 years of ministry, I can truly say that it is very unfortunate how Christians
treat other Christians. Loving someone does not mean that we agree with all
that they do. God loves me in spite of the things I do that are displeasing to Him.
John 15:12, "This is my commandment, That ye love another, as I have loved
you." May we follow the example of our Saviour and love the family of God!
