Our Scripture reading today is Revelation 5:11--12.
Verse 12, "Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing."
While the Apostle John is writing about future events, we can never run out of reasons to praise the Lamb! The Lord Jesus will always be worth of our worship, praise, and adoration. He conquered sin, death, hell and the grave that we might be redeemed and restored to God the Father.
Verse 11 tells seemingly of an innumerable choir that is offering this praise to the Lamb. We have the opportunity every day to join in with this praise choir. As we praise the Lord Jesus now, we are tuning up Heaven. Take time today and every day to make a joyful noise of praise to our Saviour and LORD! Psalm 95:1-2, "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."
