Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 6:19, "Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;"

A calm and uneventful life does not need an anchor. It is when things get stormy
that we need an anchor to keep us from drifting away. The Lord Jesus Christ
desires to be that anchor for every child of God. We will all come to various places
and times in our life when we need the Anchor. One truth to remember is that the
anchor is not seen when it is most in use. It takes faith to believe the anchor is
holding fast. While no one has seen Jesus Christ, His impact as an anchor can clearly
be seen and felt. Don't walk away from God when it gets stormy. Keep your eyes
Heavenward believing you are secured by the Anchor of the soul.

Today, we celebrate the grace and goodness of the LORD! It is my prayer that
each of us will stay anchored in Jesus.
