Our Scripture reading today is Revelation 2:8-11.
Verse 11, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."
Monday morning PRAISE...if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, you will not experience the second death! Salvation is the most important gift we will ever receive. Eternal life is a precious gift provided by Jesus Christ and His willingness to die the second death for all sinners who would believe. 2 Corinthians 5:21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 1 John 2:2, "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
Monday morning WARNING...if you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, there is no time to delay. He is still and will always be the only way to Heaven. Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." If you die without Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you will experience the second death in hell and eventually the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:14-15, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
