Our Scripture reading today is Deuteronomy 9:9-10.

Verse 10, "And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly."

Can you imagine holding something in your hands that the had been touched by the finger of God?  This is exactly what Moses experienced when he was given the tables of stone.  The original physical copy of the ten commandments was given to Moses just as the LORD had spoken when they met together in the mount.

We may not be able to hold the original tablet that Moses held, but we can hold in our hands the Word of God.  The Bible is as much the written Word of God as the tablet we read about this morning.  God delivered it to Moses and Moses delivered it to the people.  As God delivers truth to us, we should be deliver it to others.  The greatest need of our world is truth.  Jesus Christ said in John 14 that He is the truth.  Be in prayer today that God would lead you to someone who needs the hope that can only be found in Christ.
