Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 10:29, "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"

The individual described in this verse has no hope for eternity. God has graciously
provided the way for sinners to be cleansed and adopted. We are born sinners and
part of Satan's family. Jesus Christ shed blood, sacrificial death, and glorious if
resurrection make it possible for all sinners to redeemed and given eternal life. If this
gift is rejected, there is no other way for a sinner to be forgiven. The fate for those
who die without Christ is eternal judgment. (Romans 6:23a and Revelation 20:14-15)

It is important that we continue to spread the Gospel at every opportunity God gives
us. Once the Seed is sown, we should prayer regularly that the Spirit of God would
bring conviction so that fruit would abound to the glory of God.
