Our Scripture reading today is Deuteronomy 6:5, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all
thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
What does your love for the LORD look like? The love you have you for the LORD
can be measured by how you live your life for Him. God's Word tells us that our love
is seen in our obedience to God. John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." That
seven word verse is the measuring stick of our love for God.
Do you faithfully read His Word? Do you faithfully spend time in prayer?
Do you faithfully attend His church services? Do you faithfully tell others of His love?
Do you faithfully tithe and give offerings? Do you faithfully forgive those who offend you?
Do you faithfully serve in His church?
Your love for God is not shown as much in saying you love Him, but it is shown in whether
you obey Him or not. If you are convicted about this, repent and start loving God as
His Word commands.
