Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 3:13-15.
Verse 13, "But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."
It is the responsibility of every born again believer to exhort other believers.  This involves but is not limited to encouraging, comforting and instructing.  The results of our following this admonition are crucial in every generation.  There is a direct correlation with our exhorting and those whom we are exhorting keeping a tender heart toward the things of God.
In addition to what (exhorting) we are supposed to be doing, I see when (today) we should be doing it.  We cannot put off for tomorrow what must be done today.  We must not delay in exhorting others starting with those closest to us.  Do you have someone close to you that needs to be encouraged to come back to church?  We still have a good number of people that have yet to return to the services of our church.  Do you have someone close to you that is going through a difficult season and needs encouragement?  Today, is the day to call, text or even send them a card in the mail.
