Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
We are once again encouraged and challenged not to live in fear. God gives no one fear. If someone is struggling with fear, the fear is coming from their enemy. As followers of Jesus Christ, we all have the same enemy. Satan is the master of bringing fear into our lives. When fear tries to make its way into our minds, we need to be reminded of the all powerful right hand of our God that is holding us up. We need to be reminded of His never ending help that is always available to us. Psalm 121:2, "My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth." Romans 8:31, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"
