Our Scripture reading today is Numbers 10:29, "And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel
the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will
give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel."

Moses knew and believed what God had said. God's Word was the guiding factor as
Moses led the children of Israel toward Canaan. A promise had been made by God and
Moses took God at His Word. God did faithfully lead them into the Promised Land. God
always keeps His word.

We have the completed Word of God and it is filled with promises to claim. God gave
us His Spirit the moment we got saved. One of the benefits of having His Spirit is
that He will lead us each and every day to where God wants us to be. It more than likely
will not be Canaan, but it will be to the perfect will of our heavenly Father. The child
of God should be thankful every day for the completed Canon of Scripture and the
Author of it living inside us.
