Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 6:10, "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work
and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints,
and do minister."
Whether anyone ever notices your service for the Lord, you can rest assured that God
is keeping good records. He sees everything that you do for the cause of Christ. This begs
the question, "How are you serving the Lord?" Every born again child of God should
be giving their lives for His kingdom. Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
It is time for those who name the name of Jesus Christ, to be actively involved in labouring
for His glory. Think about it for a moment. Do YOU do anything in your local church or
do you simply attend? By the way, please do not serve for the sake of the people of the
pastor. Serve for the glory of your God. Serve because you love the LORD and are
thankful for the salvation you freely received.
