Today's Scripture reading is Galatians 4:4-7.
Verse 4, "...God sent forth his Son..."
God was the first sending agency of the first Missionary! Jesus Christ came to earth with a message. Jesus Christ came to earth for a specific purpose. Jesus Christ came to earth to be the sacrificial offering for the sins of all mankind. Jesus Christ made it possible for fallen man to be redeemed. We have the hope of Heaven today because, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son..."
Praise the Lord for the precious gift of salvation!
