Our Scripture reading Genesis 6:7-9.
Verse 7, "And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."
God was grieved in His heart at how man was living his life. They were completely out of control. God knew man would choose this path and yet it still had an affect on Him. It ought to be our desire and prayer to live every day of our life in a way that pleases God. 1 Thessalonians 4:1, "Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more." We must make it a point to die to self and be filled with the Spirit. God's Spirit will always lead us to please God.
