Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 4:11-13.
Verse 13, "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
The great need of every generation is Christians that are not satisfied with their current level of spiritual growth.  If you have or had children, possibly you marked their height every year on a door post or a wall.  Each year that would go by the mark would be a little higher than the previous year.  Can you imagine if your child's height decreased?  This would not be "normal" in any circumstance.
Sadly, this has become "normal" for far too many Christians.  Instead of growing little by little in Christ, they are shrinking or have stopped growing.  We should be very concerned for our own spiritual growth.  In this case, we are not measuring where we were last year or ten years ago.  The Apostle Paul tells us we are to measure ourselves beside the Lord Jesus Christ.  You are correct!  In this case, there will never be a time when we are done growing spiritually.
How to be a growing Christian:
1. Read and Apply God's Word every day
2. Pray; Pray; Pray
3. Attend all Church services bodily and mentally
4. Complete a discipleship course
5. Enrol and complete in Faith Bible Institute
6. Serve the Lord through your local church
7. Seek the filling of the Holy Spirit
8. Give God ALL the glory!
"Read your Bible, pray every day and you grow, grow, grow..."
"Neglect your Bible, forget to pray and you shrink, shrink, shrink..."

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
