Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 43:1-3.

Verse 2, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."

There is no obstacle or challenge that God is not only with us, but He was there before it came to us.  According to this passage, trials come in all shapes and sizes, and yet God says, "I will be with thee."  Just as He was with the three Hebrew young men in the furnace (Daniel 3:19-25), He will be with you today.  Just as He was with the disciples on a boat that was sure to sink (Mark 4:35-39), He will be with you today.

Whatever the problem or concern are in your life today, you can walk confidently and courageously through them knowing that you are not alone nor will you ever be alone.  Psalm 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
