Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 4:15-16.
Verse 16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
God's Son made it possible for sinners to be saints. Jesus Christ is the only
way we can approach the Father. The Son of God shed His pure, blood that
we might be forgiven of all sin. We trade our sin for His righteousness. It enables
us to enter into God's presence with boldness and confidence. It is through
Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace.
How often do we worry when we could be going to God's throne?
How often do we complain when we could be going to God's throne?
How often do we fear when we could be going to God's throne?
How often are we directionless when we could be going to God's throne?
How often are we carrying a burden when we should be going to God's throne?
Today is the day to approach the throne boldly in the name of Jesus Christ!
