Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 5:2, "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour."
All of God's children should be willing to love others as Christ has loved us. He
proved His love by laying down His sinless life on the cross. The perfect Lamb of
God provided the only sacrifice that was acceptable to God. Jesus Christ loved
sinners like you and me. This type of love is what we ought to be showing to a lost
and dying world. We must be willing to lay down our lives for the glory of God.
This will not look the same for everyone, but it should be happening as we are
filled with the Spirit. More than likely it will be little by little, but for some it may
be all at once.
