Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 25:20, "O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed;
for I put my trust in thee."
“David is pictured in this Psalm as in a faithful miniature. His holy trust, his many conflicts, his great
transgressions, his bitter repentance, and his deep distresses are all here; so that we see the very heart
of ‘the man after God’s own heart.’” (Charles Spurgeon)
As children of God, we can rest assured that He will faithfully have us in His care. As
the Psalmist did, so can we put our trust in the LORD. His plan and purpose for our
life are always best. They may not look that on the surface, but God is always working
things together for good. He is the wise master builder. 1 Corinthians 3:10, "According to the grace
of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another
buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon."
God has proven Himself trustworthy. Give Him whatever is concerning you, and He
will come through.
