Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 28:7, "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."

While it is clear in the Word of God that we are to seek God's provision for everything, we are also to praise Him just the same.  The psalmist trusted God and was helped.  This led to a song of praise.  How often do we ask and ask for God to meet a need and then when He does our time of praise is much less than our prayer was?

Psalm 52:9, "I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints."

Psalm 109:30, "I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude."

Praise Him! Praise Him!
