Our Scripture reading today is Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save
me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise."
Whether Jeremiah needed physical or spiritual healing, it is not clearly known.
He may have even needed emotional healing. Jeremiah was called of God to
preach a message of judgment to the people of God. He was not the most
received prophet that we read about in the Bible. Regardless of his reception
from the people, he stayed true to his calling even in the midst of great
difficulty. Notice the end of the verse and how is he still praising God even though
he had a great need.
God can provide whatever healing you may need today. He is all powerful and
able to do anything but fail. Keep an attitude of praise while trusting in the
Lord for your healing. It matters not what we are enduring, God is worthy of our
praise!
