Our Scripture reading today is Luke 17:22-24.
Verse 22, "And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it."
The Lord Jesus is not only speaking to His disciples at that moment, but He is also speaking to all of His disciples since that day including today. We are to be longing and looking for Jesus Christ to return and so shall we ever be with the Lord. There should be a spirit of preparation for our day of departure as well as the return of our Saviour. We spoke on this very subject on Wednesday night from Ecclesiastes 12.
There will not be an alert given to prepare for His return. He will come unannounced and it will be too late for any further preparation. Are you ready for His return? Now is the time to prepare!
