Our Scripture reading today is Genesis 39:12, "And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out."
Joseph sets an amazing example for each one of us to follow. When Potiphar's wife got ahold of him and propositioned him, he ran! He resisted the temptation. We see that he was a man of character and integrity.
Not a days go by that without some sort of temptation coming across our path. Our enemy is always looking for ways to not only catch us but to destroy us. By the grace of God, we can run away too and not be ensnared in Satan's devices.
"Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart." 2 Timothy 2:22
