Our Scripture reading today is Acts 17:26-27.

Verse 27, "That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:"

God is not in hiding hoping that we will be able to locate where He is.  God does not
play hide and seek with the lost or the saved.  He is seeking to save the lost.  He is also
near to where you are today.  The relationship that we have with God was initiated by
Him.  Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us."

Christ died so that sinners like you and me could not only have a relationship with God,
but that we might have daily fellowship with Him as well.  We can enter into the presence
of God anytime we like all because Christ's shed blood was applied to our sin debt.  The
debt was paid in full.  Seek the Lord today and you will find Him!
