Our Scripture reading today is Acts 4:10-12.
Verse 12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
The most important name in everyone's life is Jesus Christ. Our eternal destiny is determined by how we view the name of Jesus Christ. Is He the Son of God? Is He the Saviour?
The answers to these and many other questions about Jesus Christ are found in the Word of God. John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Yes, Jesus Christ is the Son of God! Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Yes, Jesus Christ is the Saviour! Is He your Saviour? Have you, by faith, called on Him to forgive your sins and accepted the free gift of salvation?
It is of the utmost importance that we tell anyone and everyone about the Lord Jesus. He is their only hope for eternal life in Heaven. He is their only hope for peace in this life. He is and always will be the way, the truth and the life.
