Our Scripture reading today is Proverbs 3:26, "For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep
thy foot from being taken."
There is a promise given to us in this proverb that God is always watching over us. He
can be trusted with our complete confidence. It matters not if everything is going well
or not so well, God is with us. “When Peter was in prison, in chains, between two soldiers, on the eve
of his expected execution, when there seemed but a step between him and death, he was able to lie
down and not be afraid.” (Bridges)
God is working all things together for our good and His glory. Whether we can fully
understand it or not, God always has the best interest of His children in mind. The
LORD will watch over your path today. Be willing to follow where He leads.
