Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
We have at our disposal the power to overcome any and all temptations that Satan and his helpers throw at us. God's Word has yet to meet its match. By the way, it will never meet its match. The more time we spend in the Word of God, the more prepared we will become. It is important that we know how to use this very powerful weapon.
Psalm 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee."
Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
A growing Christian always finds time for the Word of God. It has a place of priority.
