Our Scripture reading today is Mark 16:9, "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils."
The one who had seemingly benefited the most from Jesus Christ power is the one He appears to first. Mary Magdalene surely was a worthy messenger to let the others know that Jesus was alive! Each one of us who have received the forgiveness of sins have been commissioned to deliver the same message as Mary, "Jesus is alive!" One proof we have that Jesus alive is the change He has made and continues to make in our lives. No one has the power to change a life like Jesus. Tell someone today the difference He has made in your life.
