Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 10:17-18, "But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth."
Our goal in the Christian life is not to build something for our name or even the name
of the church we are a member of. Every Christian should seek to glory in the Lord.
God is worthy of our service and sacrifice. Jeremiah 9:24, "But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."
Live today, for the glory and approval of the Lord! What He knows and sees is more
important than what someone else thinks about you.
