Our Scripture reading today is 2 Peter 2:1-3.
Verse 3, "...with feigned words..."
There is no doubt in my mind that we must speak words of truth. The word, feigned, means fictitious or artificial. Whether or not it is received as such, the truth must be proclaimed. There are many that are proclaiming feigned words. These words go against the truths we find in the Scriptures. Sometimes they contain Biblical truth with a twist to agree with their certain doctrine. One drop of poison in a glass of water is enough for me not to want to drink the water. The more time we spend in the Word of God will help us to distinguish between truth and error.
