Our Scripture reading today is Job 6:25, "How forcible are right words! but what doth your arguing reprove?"
A really good daily prayer request is to ask God to guide and guard our tongue. The
very small member of our body can do much good, but it can also do much destruction
in just a sentence or two. Ephesians 4:15, "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
By the grace of God, we can use our tongue today to share the Gospel with someone, we
can use to encourage a brother or sister, or we can use it to sing praises to our God. It is
important that we ask God's Spirit to empower us to use our tongue for His glory and
not our shame.
