Our Scripture reading today is Mark 9:24, "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and
said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."
What a situation this father found himself in regarding the condition of his son. We
may not be able to relate specifically in this way, but we have all faced certian
challenges that test our faith. These difficult times reveal that while we have some
faith, we also still have unbelief. It is perfectly normal to seek God's help in relation
to building our faith. His Word is also a key faith builder in our lives. Romans 10:17
says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
As we build our lives on the Bible, our faith will grow and our unbelief will shrink.
