Our Scripture reading today is 3 John 2, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."
John is writing to Gaius and wishing him to have a good journey. One part of making
a journey good is having good health in body and soul. These are the two biggest
portions of our Wednesday prayer sheet. There are numerous people being prayed for
that they might see their need of a Saviour as well as many others who need the
healing touch of Jehovah Rapha.
I believe we all desire to have good health. God does allow His children to go through
physical challenges. We are living in a sin cursed world. This fact is why our physical
wellbeing isn't always what we want it to be. The life of the believer is always good
because God is always good. May we trust Him with our soul and body.
