Our Scripture reading today is Jeremiah 10:23, "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself:
it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps."
We pride ourselves to be people that know how to take care of things in our lives. Some
have referred to this as being self made. Whatever we want to do in life, we simply need
to set our minds to it and it will happen. As a child of God, our thought process should be
quite different from that. God provided us with a spiritual GPS to know where to go in
life and what to do. The Holy Spirit is indwelling every one of God's children. One of the
reasons He is there is to guide us to truth. John 16:13, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come."
The daily task before us is to submit to His way and walk in it. His way is always right!
