Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 116:12, "What shall I render unto the LORD for all his
benefits toward me?"
As we get into this first day of the work week, let us be reminded of some of the
benefits that God has provided. I say, some, because it is almost impossible to come
up with a list of all the benefits. It would take time to list all the benefits of even the
LORD'S day. From the early morning setup until pulling out of the parking lot at 322
Hospital Street, the LORD showed us His power and gave us so many benefits. This
was not the Sunday to skip church for something else on the calendar.
May we render to God the praise He alone is worthy to receive. May we praise Him
for the preaching of His Word and may we seek to apply it to our lives. May we
praise Him for the first time visitors in both services as well as returning visitors. May we
praise Him for two lost souls that came to salvation! Hallelujah! May we praise Him
for a visitor as a direct result of handing out tracts at the Skytrain. This is only the
beginning of the benefits the LORD graciously gave us yesterday. To God be all the
glory!
