Today's Scripture reading is Nehemiah 4:6-9.
Verse 6, "...for the people had a mind to work."
Nehemiah and those who were assisting him in the re-building of the walls were determined to do the work until it was complete. They would not even allow opposition to get in the way. Their heart was in the work.
What task or tasks do you need to accomplish today? Maybe there is an area of your life that needs to be re-built like the walls in Nehemiah's day. By God's grace we can have a mind to work and give Him all the glory.
Colossians 3:23, "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."
