Our Scripture reading today is 1 Kings 8:22-23, "And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven: And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:"
We join King Solomon in the beginning of his prayer of dedication to God for the temple.  It is not only a prayer of dedication, but also a prayer of praise for Who God is and what God does.  There would be no temple had it not been for the LORD God.  There would be no celebration without the provision of almighty God.  King Solomon makes it clear by his spreading forth his hands.  This was a common gesture representing surrender and ready reception.  God is all they needed and He was the source of their supply.
As we continue to pray for a miracle building in 2022, it is important that we remember that to have God is to have enough.  He is trustworthy.  He is all powerful.  He loves us unconditionally.  He is also able to provide for us He did for King Solomon and so many others in the Bible times and today.  Jeremiah 32:17, "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:"
God is faithful!
