Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool."

The precious blood of the Lamb of God was shed on Calvary's cross that sinners like
you and me could be forgiven. We did nothing to deserve being forgiven. God's love
is the basis of this amazing provision.

Why wait to receive God's forgiveness? The prophet, Isaiah, says we should seek it now.
God is more than willing to forgive for Christ's sake. If we ask for it, God will "cleanse
us from all unrighteousness". (1 John 1:9) What are we waiting for?
