Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 19:1-3.
Verse 1, "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork."
We can look into the skies and see that there is a God. I guess maybe I should
say there is one true God Who is the Creator of the heavens. The work of His
hands can be seen at every sunrise and sunset. He is Almighty God. This all
powerful God created us in His image and desires to have fellowship with us.
Did you catch that? The God Who created the world in six days wants to have
time with us every day!
Our lives have an opportunity to join with the heavens and bring God glory. He
alone is worthy of our praise and glory. It is important that we keep away from
sin as sin limits the glory we can bring to God. We heard a really good Bible
message about this last night. By the grace of God, let's seek to apply what we
learned in order that the Creator receives glory from His creation.
