Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 55:1-2.

Verse 2, "Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness."

We are reminded by the prophet, Isaiah, that true fulfillment in life can only be found when we diligently seek the LORD.  He has everything we need and is willing and able to be our supply.  Our resources can only bring temporary satisfaction.  They fly away as quickly as we earned them.  His resources are eternal and have a satisfaction guaranteed promise on them.  These resources are activated by our faith and trust.  Psalm 37:3, "Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed."
