Our Scripture reading today is Luke 1:30, "And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God."
The angel's words to Mary are words that we should take to heart on a regular basis.
God does not instill in us the spirit of fear. The enemy of every believer is the source
of fear. Satan knows that this kind of fear will be a trap in our lives that will prevent us
from living the victorious Christian life. Salvation provides eternal and present victory
to the believer. We need not live in constant fear of potential things that may never
happen. If you trusted God for your eternal destiny, surely you can trust Him for your
daily bread. God is worthy of our trust.
