Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 49:5, "And now, saith the LORD that formed me from
the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be
glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength."

We have the same all powerful God that Isaiah is writing about in this verse. He is
watching over us with the care of a shepherd. Psalm 23:1, "The LORD is my
shepherd..." Isaiah experienced weakness, but he knew where is strength was going
to come from. If you are feeling weak spiritually, physically, or emotionally, you can
lean on God to be your strength. Stop depending on yourself or others to carry you
through each day. Your heavenly Father is ready and more than able for the task at hand.
