Our Scripture reading today is Luke 12:22-24.
Verse 24, "Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
We have a faithful Father who takes care of everything we need and He even provides a want or two along the way.  The Lord Jesus gives the example of a raven.  As I read this, I picture the raven being supplied for each and every day.  They don't have places to store food like we do, but they have what they need every day.  God is faithful!
The emphasis Jesus places on not worrying can also be seen in these verses.  Worry comes in my life when I fail to recognize the power and provision of God.  Philippians 4:6, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."  God is more than capable of supplying my daily needs.  God is more than capable of meeting an unexpected need that comes into my life life.  The love of God for His children can be seen in so many different ways.  One way is in His taking care to meet our needs according to His riches.
