Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 41:4, "I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have
sinned against thee."
 
Every soul is sin-sick and need of healing from Dr. Jesus. His prescription is the only one
that will cure the soul. 1 John 1:7, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
 
It is quite the opposite of what doctors tell us today. Normally, lab workneeds to be done in order to see
what is wrong. Blood is given from the sick one. God's way of spiritual healing is applying Dr. Jesus'
blood to the patient. Blood must be received. Sin can only be washed away by the blood of the Lamb. 

1 Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow'r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

2 Are you walking daily by the Savior's side?

Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,

4 Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin.

There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean.
