Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 59:16, "But I will sing of thy power; yea,
I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble."
A great way to start any day is singing about the power of our God. He is able to
accomplish far more than we could ever ask or think. He is the only omnipotent
God. Mr. Isaac Watts wrote about His power in the early 1700's.
We sing the mighty power of God that made the mountains rise,
that spread the flowing seas abroad and built the lofty skies.
We sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;
the moon shines full at his command, and all the stars obey.
We saw firsthand God at work the last three days. The only explanation what
happened at Vacation Bible School is the mighty power of God. Take time today
to sing His praises.
