Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 3:7-8.
Verse 8, "Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;"
The Apostle Paul did not consider himself to be some great Christian. There was a
humility about him that is clearly seen in these verses. He viewed himself as being
less than whoever was the least important follower of Christ. “But while Paul was thus thankful
for his office, his success in it greatly humbled him. The fuller a vessel becomes the deeper it sinks in the
water. A plenitude of grace is a cure for pride.” (Spurgeon)
We have also be given the grace of God in order that we might deliver the truth of the
gospel. It is a privilege and responsibility. We are not worthy of it, but God has called
us to be involved in it. Are you sharing Christ with others on a regular basis?
