Our Scripture reading today is 1 John 4:9-10.
Verse 9, "In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him."
These verses of Scripture remind us that God loved us first and continues to love us.
He made it possible for sinful mankind to be made alive through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ provided what was necessary for us to have
victory. God's love allowed this eternal sacrifice to take place. This is the message that
we are to proclaim to a lost world.
God's love continues beyond our salvation to our every day life. He is waiting to hear
from us with regards to the needs we have that only He can provide. Matthew 7:11, "If ye then, being
evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven
give good things to them that ask him?" Seek your loving, heavenly Father today for He loves you unconditionally.
