Our Scripture reading today is John 15:11-13.
Verse 12, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."
The Lord Jesus instructs His disciples in the level of love they should have for one another.  Their love should look just like the love Jesus had for them.  This task would be impossible unless they abided in Him.  Each one of us has been sent out into this world to reach the lost with the Gospel, but before we do that, we must love one another.  It will be difficult, but it is not an impossible command.
The source of agape love is not our feelings.  If we try to love another when we feel like it, we will fail miserably.  Our source of love for the family of God is in the Vine.  We are not in competition with one another.  We are to love one another as our God loves us.  His love flows through us to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
A key to reaching the lost is loving those who are already saved...John 13:35, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
