Our Scripture reading today is Exodus 34:6-7, "And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation."

A reminder from these verses of Scripture is that the LORD is merciful and just. He is
willing to forgive those who ask in humility. He will also judge those who decide to
live in continual sin. What choice will you make? The LORD has plenty of mercy
because He loves people. “Not merely adequate, but abounding is this great God of glory. He has barns and
silos full of love and faithfulness; he is stacking it in the streets looking for a distribution system.” (Erwin)
