Our Scripture reading today is Matthew 5:18, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till
all be fulfilled."
God's Word is eternal because God is eternal. Every part of His Word is true and will
come to pass. As Christians, we are tremendously blessed to have a copy of the Word
of God. It is without a doubt the greatest book every written. One of amazing points
about the Bible is that it is always current. It was written almost two thousand years
ago and yet it is like fresh baked bread for the follower of Jesus Christ. “Though all earth and hell should
join together to hinder the accomplishment of the great designs of the Most High, yet it shall all be in
vain-even the sense of a single letter shall not be lost. The words of God, which point out his designs, are
as unchangeable as his nature itself.” (Clarke)
Knowing this, we should do our best to read it and share it every day.
